Youka Kokotama is a Japanese painter who is based in Kamakura.
She graduated from New York University with an honor, and began her painter's career in Japan.
Kannon, the goddess of mercy, has become Youka's important source of inspiration for her creation.
She creates interesting artwork called "kokotama" along with her paintings.
It is her original artwork, which is a small painting on water droplet-shaped wood.
Youka's paintings and "kokotama" artworks will be displayed at the exhibition.
