The 100-year frog collection museum located in Kitakata city in Fukushima prefecture is a frog-themed private museum.
It transmits frog culture in various ways by using frog-related items collected through three generations of the museum owner.
In this exhibition, you can see the art works made by the late Masaru Shibata who had painted loads of pictures of frog.(The art work from the 100-year frog collection museum).
We hope you enjoy "the world of kaeru(frog) art" through the pictures painted with a playful mind by the artist who was fascinated by frogs.
