Kyoko Wainai moved to Akita five years ago after living in the UK for over 30 years. She currently lives in Misato, Akita Prefecture, the town where her grandmother, a seamstress who provided her with much inspiration. After encountering the handiwork of women who embroider patterns on balls with needles and thread in Akita , then she started to create something that would waft along with the Japanese fragrance. She started make such a items with the kimonos from Japan to the England and now continues to create items from that material for everyday life in Akita.
